Swine Experience

I love exploring Miami especially when it's food. I'm not a fat ass I pinky promise, I just love going to new places and seeing what unique drinks and food combinations they have to offer. 

I have been hearing about this place Swine for months and I've been dying to go, not to mention I've heard nothing but raving reviews. Well I finally got to experience Swine thanks to my wonderful boyfriend that surprised me. Lucky me!

My boyfriend had Malbec and I had a martini with whiskey in it!! So delicious and I've definitely never had that before.

Fried Green Tomato BLT

If you've never had fried green tomatoes get to it & try something new! It is delicious sweet & salty. Not to mention the small slices of thick bacon on top with a jam like sauce. It is a great combination of flavors and nothing not too sweet.

Crispy Brussels Sprouts

Now this is something I wouldn't make at home. Not because it's bad but I honestly don't think I would know how to properly make it. It has a very bitter taste naturally and I think I would mess it up. I might try one day anyways but it might take a while. I have no idea how they made it at Swine but it was delicious.

Country Fried Bacon & Waffles

If you've heard of chicken and waffles then you know how delicious it is. I would say this is the sister to that dish and it's mouth watering! If I had room I would've had the whole thing. I wanted room for dessert is I controlled myself. 

Shrimp & Grits

My boyfriend sees shrimp and grits and he starts salivating like he hasn't had anything to eat for weeks! Needless to say I think this is the best version if this dish we have had.

Slice of Heaven

This was the special of the day and it was scrumptious with buttermilk ice cream.
